Food, Friends, and Fun (FFF) is a joint effort with the Kirk of Kildaire and Cary Presbyterian to continue addressing food insecurity for families in our neighborhood over the summer, when children do not receive meals from school. In the summer of 2015, the Kirk and GFBC partnered to provide two days of tutoring, crafts, games and most importantly a hot meal and groceries to anyone in the community who desired or needed it. This 10-week program served over 125 kids by the end of its inaugural summer. It was truly a beautiful sight to see churches and volunteers working together to get to know our neighbors and match resources with needs in our community.
