Katie Morgan's Sermon at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cuba

The sermon is from Isaiah chapters 6 and 7. The death of King Uzziah in verse one ends a period of prosperity in his kingdom. Keeping this in mind, Isaiah was summoned to deliver a troubling message in the midst of the people's struggles. However, God prepared Isaiah for his task and reminded him that the kingdom would see glory days again. Isaiah introduces the promise of a Messiah that will bring peace and comfort to the hurting world. Ask yourself what have we been summoned to do during our own times of turmoil?
