Children's Sunday School

Sunday School is developmentally appropriate for each age group and provides a nurturing, Christian environment for children 6 weeks through fifth grade.

Babies

Care for our youngest children is provided in educational wing both worship services and Sunday School. Children are divided into:

  • Creepers
  • Toddlers
  • 2 year olds
  • 3 year olds

While these are our youngest members of Sunday School and many have not even learned to talk, all efforts are made to pass on the love of Christ. As they grow and become more cognizant of the world around them, Biblical stories or stories based on Biblical principles surround them which starts to provide a sound basis for seeing Christ in the world around them.

We invite you and your children aged 6 weeks through 3 years old to visit our nursery program on Sunday morning!

Preschool

For our 4 and 5 year olds, we provide Sunday School, a nursery like setting for our 8:45 worship in our education wing, and a Children's Worship session during the last half of our 11:00 worship. During the hymn preceding the offering, four and five year olds are invited to meet with adult leaders in the back of the church where they are taken to our educational building (see Church Bulletin for room number) for a more hands on learning session. Parents can pick them up there immediately following worship.

Grades 1 to 5

Grades 1 - 5 meet in our educational wing from 9:45 until 10:50 AM. Please see a greeter for directions to a class for your child's specific age group.
