MISSIONS

ACTEENS

All youth girls have the opportunity to take what they have learned in Sunday school and Alpha & Omega and put it to use.  Acteens go to the nursing home, the food bank and other locations around town to participate in hands-on missions.  Throughout the year, the Acteens do different craft projects for different organizations such as making blankets for “Project Linus.” Favorite activities of many of the girls have included the annual yard sale and lock-in to raise money for missions and the Mother/Daughter Luncheon.  This year the Acteens are planning a retreat and other activities that will make this group one that you will want to join this year! You don’t want to miss this!

CHALLENGERS

This is the place where youth boys will have the opportunity to put their faith in action.  Some of the things that the boys have enjoyed in the past and are sure to look forward to this fall are service projects such as the food bank and, of course, basketball!  This year we are looking forward to participating in more hands-on mission projects and getting our hands dirty for missions. Be sure to join the Challengers on Wednesday nights as they put their faith into action.
